MyType Technologies
Personality science meets precision matching.
We build the infrastructure that turns human complexity into compatibility scores — for golfers, pickleballers, neighbors, travelers, and beyond.
How We Score Compatibility
A three-layer system that transforms personality science into actionable compatibility scores. Config-driven, domain-agnostic, mathematically transparent.
Personality Foundation
Every domain starts with configurable personality dimensions — 2-pole axes that capture how people actually behave. Communication style, competition drive, social vibe, adaptability. The dimensions change per domain; the framework stays the same.
Dealbreaker Layer
Raw personality match is just the starting point. Domain-specific behavioral preferences create adjustment matrices that modify the base score. A coaching tolerance mismatch in pickleball might cost you 80 points. These aren't opinions — they're scored.
Match Precision
Personality base + dealbreaker adjustments + skill proximity = a single compatibility score with full breakdown transparency. No black boxes. Every point in the score is traceable to a specific dimension, preference, or constraint.
What We Build
Personality-driven matching across domains — plus tools that make teams work better together. Every project shares a common infrastructure of types, algorithms, and scoring engines.
MyGolfType
Find your perfect foursome
Golfer personality matching and tee-time optimization. Four personality dimensions tuned to on-course dynamics — pace, communication, competition, and etiquette.
MyPicklePals
Your court, your crew
Pickleball partner matching with 16 personality types across communication, competition, vibe, and adaptability dimensions. Venue management and group pairing optimization built in.
NeighborFit
Know your neighbors before you move in
Neighbor compatibility scoring for residential communities. Household-level matching with adjacency weighting — immediate neighbors matter more than those across the street.
MyCruiseType
Find your sea legs — and your people
Cruise companion matching by activity preferences and social style. Aligning personality types across ship amenities, excursions, and dining preferences.
MyAirsoftType
Squad up with the right loadout
Airsoft team and player matching by playstyle dimensions — aggression, tactics, communication, and role preference. Build squads that actually work together.
Clarity PCL
The meeting killer
AI-driven team interface that acts as a communication membrane between project members and the project itself. Asynchronous productivity suite that virtually eliminates the need for meetings and ensures perfect clarity in all project-based communication.
TalkToThisBook
Books as people
Connected people to the works of non-fiction they valued — as though the books themselves were people. Personality extraction from book content created conversational partners out of ideas.
One Platform, Many Domains
Every matching app shares a common type system, scoring engine, and scheduling optimizer. Adding a new domain means writing a config file — not building a new platform.
Brad Zimmer

Brad studied English and Psychology at The Florida State University, where his emphasis in the Psychology of Personality ignited a lasting fascination with the science of human connection. His English degree fed a parallel instinct — he wrote literary fiction and learned to build narratives that resonate. Those two threads — understanding people and communicating with precision — have defined everything since.
After college Brad went deep into the golf industry, passing the Playing Ability Test for the PGA of America in 2009. Rather than pursue the playing side, he joined SCOR Golf as Director of Marketing — a role that put him at the center of SCOR's acquisition of the Ben Hogan brand from Perry Ellis and the resurgence of one of golf's most storied names.
From there, Brad moved into enterprise technology at Gartner, working with HTTP Canada on accounts including Research In Motion, Rogers Communications, and Microsoft. Over the last decade he evolved from SQL and monetization specialist into a full-stack technology leader and builder — and eventually founded MyType Technologies.
The thesis behind MyType is personal: every relationship has friction points, and the question is whether those friction points are fundamental incompatibilities or just noise. Brad's academic roots in personality science gave him the framework; his engineering career gave him the tools. What started with matching golfers has grown into a config-driven platform that can match anyone, in any domain — from pickleball partners to neighbors to cruise companions. The personality dimensions change per context; the science stays the same.
“Connection starts with understanding. Every relationship has friction points — the question is whether those friction points are fundamental or just noise. We build the tools to tell the difference.”
